Giving birth is not an easy task. However, the event was compounded for one mom in Myanmar when she went into labor during the earthquake on March 28th, according to Reuters. Fortunately, she was at the hospital and was able to give birth with medical care. The mother, Kanthong Saenmuangshin, 36, and her husband have not given their new daughter a name yet.
With all the death and destruction that occurred because of the 7.7 magnitude earthquake, it is a beacon of hope to see that a healthy child was brought into the world.
